A nice way to finish another season of festival-going might be to try something completely different. Like, really outside the box. Tomorrow marks Philadelphia’s Pagan Pride Day, a celebration of the impending harvest and a chance to recognize alternative religious beliefs and practices, such as Heathenism (a pre-Christian system) and Wicca.
Families are invited to attend with an open mind and interact with a unique assortment of vendors, take in a little bit of entertainment, and most importantly, learn something beyond the ordinary.
The festival is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Clark Park, 4301 Chester Ave., Philadelphia. For more information, visit philadelphiapaganpride.org.
