The Firebird Festival mission is to provide an annual celebration of the borough of Phoenixville’s namesake – the Phoenix. Just as the Phoenix rose from its own ashes, the town of Phoenixville has risen, and continues to rebuild and improve the local community, after the loss of its principle industry in the early 1980’s.

The festival is designed to foster a collaboration of local artistic and creative talent, and to enhance the overall cultural life of Phoenixville.

100+ performers, an expansive craft vendor area, and gourmet food trucks and vendors from the Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs will be on site to welcome the thousands of participants who flock to Phoenixville for the festival.

There will also be a parade from downtown Phoenixville, leading its way up to Friendship Field. The community is encouraged to join in the parade, which will feature paper lanterns, peace birds, puppets, dancers, drummers and more.

There will be continuous shuttle buses connecting downtown to the bird site at Friendship Field.
